Garrisons at Andover |

Town records state that, in 1675, a dozen garrison houses once existed in Andover. Other than the garrison of George Abbott, no further mention of specific garrison houses has been found. A map (sponsored by the Andover and North Andover Historical Societies, 1992) shows 2 garrisons and the sites of town residents in 1692. Families living in the immediate area of these garrisons are listed below.
